Contribute documents

From OpenCondoDocs, the free condominium document library

OpenCondoDocs publishes condominium and homeowners' association documents contributed by owners, buyers and others who hold them lawfully. Every submission is reviewed before publication. Names, unit numbers, amounts owed by a unit, contact details and signatures are removed, and contributors are never named.

Do not submit privileged legal material: legal opinions, letters from the board's lawyer, or minutes of closed sessions about lawsuits. It is deleted unread and never enters the library.

How we handle your information. CommonFile (OpenCondoDocs) collects your email address, your property, how you're connected to it, how you got the documents, and the files you send. We use them to identify your property, check the documents, publish them with personal information removed, and answer your questions. We never publish who sent a document, and we disclose it only when the law requires us to. Before anything is published, we remove names, unit numbers, amounts owed by a unit, contact details, signatures and anything else about an identifiable person.

Where it's kept. Your files are stored in Canada by Supabase, a US company. We also use US service providers to run this website, deliver downloads, handle email and read documents with artificial intelligence, so some of your information is processed in the United States, where courts and government authorities may be able to access it under US law. Our privacy policy explains how we use service providers outside Canada.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to the Privacy Officer. We will stop using your contact details and, if you ask, take down the documents you sent. We can't recall copies other people have already downloaded.
